Krystof Kriz is a photographer currently based in the United Kingdom and in
the Czech republic. He is working as a freelance photographer and part-time at
the School of Art/Birmingham City University. He has gained MA with
distinction in Visual Communication in 2007.
His work has been published and exhibitied in the Czech Republic, England,
France, Germany, Lithuania, Poland and India.
Photography is his profession and the way he chooses to express himself. He
creates visual stories that communicate with the viewer in a narrative, allusive,
critical and documentary fashion.
He speaks fluent Czech, English and German. Kriz has gained experience while
working for the media industry, for the contemporary art gallery, publishing
house as a curator. Main strengths of his photography is the convincing
approach on lighting and composition which is supported with his great
interpersonnal skills which are invaluable when shooting on the set and
communicating with people.
