Design, illustration, and architectural work for diverse clients both in and outside
of New York. Interior architecture for clients including Mekong Brooklyn, Carne,
Harry’s Pig Shop, Bistro Zenith, and private residences. Ongoing graphic design for
the Forgeois group and Grand Hospitality (Soho Grand Hotel, Tribeca Grand Hotel),
among others. Recent 80-page Hardbound graphic novel for the World Health
Orgaization “Smallpox Zero.” Identities, business plans, and feasiblilty studies for
overseas hospitality concerns (United Arab Emirates).
PARTNER, FADA, Inc. 1998-2002, NYC
Founder and partner in an interior and graphic design company catering primarily
to the hospitality industry. FADA’s work ranged from image and identity creation
and consulting to complete space design and development. The company grew to
become an influential player in hospitality design and cultivated a loyal following
among New York’s top hotel and restaurant groups. Clients included the Jonathan
Morr Group, Tribeca Grand Hotel, the Soho Grand Hotel, APT, BondSt, Bar Tabac,
Chaos, Le Souk, Townhouse Hotel, Cafe Noir, Jules, the Shoreham Hotel, Hotel Roger
Williams, Robert Derector Associates, Interior Architects, Young and Rubicam, and
many others.
DIRECTOR OF GRAPHIC DESIGN, SCR DESIGN ORG. 1999-2000, NYC
Directed promotional campaigns, maintained brand strength, managed personnel,
and executed all graphic and marketing collateral for a top-twenty corporate
interiors firm. Clients included BMW, Goldman Sachs, Mutual of New York,
Karl Lagerfeld, Van Wagner Communications, and Citigroup.
DESIGN CONSULTANT, MK CONTRACTING 1994-1997, NYC
Provided architectural and design services for a mid-sized design/build operation.
Clients included the Episcopal Foundation, Association to Benefit Children,
Abigail Disney, the Heights Bar and Grill, and the Soho Brewery.
