Ian Dodds graduated in 2002 with BA Illustration and multimedia Design. He is currently based in Birmingham UK working as a Freelance Illustrator.

His style has developed from printmaking by reusing and producing textures with paint, print, photography and found objects. He construct work progressively, starting with a strong, conceptual composition and then adding textures, colours and shapes. The final illustration always has a natural painterly, almost screen print finish to his work.
