Born in Plymouth and raised in Manchester, Christopher James Hewitt now resides in London as a Graphic Designer and Art Director. He has accumulated considerable experience along with a diversified portfolio of clientele as a result of his dedication, ambition, and love of design.
Back in 2000, Chris received his first opportunity to establish himself as a designer at Code in Manchester , working with clients such as Dr Martens, Service Point, and MBS. Two years later, he moved to London to work for Wax New Media, designing for Channel 5, Agent Provocateur, and Rowenta. Shortly thereafter, he joined Now Wash Your Hands, where he is currently a Senior Designer working with clients encompassing MTV Europe and Spike TV.
Alongside Tim Jarvis, he is also the Co-Director of The Systm Network, whose clientele include Glenfiddich, R Club, Captured Records and Chroma Magazine. On a more personal level, since 2000, he has freelanced under the pseudonym of Dstrukt and has completed a variety of projects including those for Digitalvision, Friends of Ed, and Computer Arts Magazine. In 2002, Relokation, a personal project depicting his move from Manchester to London was showcased at BD4D 7, broadcasted on French and Italian television, as well as featured in numerous magazines and DVDs. In addition to his extensive involvement with the online and offline design community, Chris also has a deep-seated love for photography and various niche genres of electronic music.
