Brief Summary
For a designer to be successful and unique, he or she must first have a firm understanding of his craft. This understanding translates into each aspect of a designer's process, allowing ideas to transform from concepts to taking a tangible form. Through my practical and educational experiences, I have come to see design as the visual synthesis of ideas. It captures thought and language, transforming them anew. It commands the imagination and intellect, creates connections, fosters understanding, and provides meaning. It shapes the visible environment and delivers information to everyone within it; it is functional, conveying messages with purpose.
