Leanne Franson has illustrated over 100 children's books in acrylic ink, watercolor and pen and ink since 1991. Her illustrations for "L'ourson qui voulait une Juliette" were shortlisted for the Governor General's Award, and "Rainy Days with Bear" for the Blue Spruce Award. She specializes in children, animals and the portrayal of emotions. She lives and works in Montreal, Quebec, in English and French.
