Photographer, Designer and educator, Jarvis Grant began his Washington, DC studio in while still a student at Howard University where he became the University's first Photography BFA recipient 

He is recipient of many art awards including Visual Arts fellowships from the DC Commission of the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Prix de la Photographie, Paris, the Surdna Foundation's Artist Teacher fellowship, and a featured artist in Portfolio Issues of Graphic Design magazine, Create magazine and a finalist in the Digital Photo Pro magazine Ultimate Creativity competition.
