Daniel has worked for 100's of different clients worldwide over the years, in all areas of the industry, including: Editorial; Design; Advertising; Publishing; and New Media.

One of Daniel's illustration received the' Best in Book' award in the Creative Review Illustration Annual 2011. The winning illustration was commissioned by Natmag-Rodale.

Daniel Mackie abandoned photoshop in 2010. After using the software as an illustration tool for over a decade he decided that a change in direction and method was what was required to push his work further. All Daniel's illustrations are now hand drawn and painted on 300gsm saunders watercolour paper. You can see Work in progress on Daniel's Blog
