Lucas Lasnier, aka PARBO, was born in Mar del Plata and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a graphic designer (Fadu, UBA / Ort) and illustrator, professions that developed as a founding member of KidGaucho art collective.

With a strong background in fine arts and autodidactic searches, he turned to street art using modern languages like stencils and graffiti in 2000. Influenced by plastic expressions like comics and American pop-surrealism, as well as the punk-rock, heavy-metal and skate scene, Lasnier developed a signature style. His creations were manifested in Buenos Aires and different cities throughout Latin-America.

In 2008, he explored and created “GABBA GABBA PAINT: The Black Series”, a 12 canvas series connected and dedicated to legendary Punk Rock band The Ramones. Currently, he continues working on the “GIRLS & ROSES” series, 16 pictures illustrated in red pencil which were shown at a solo exhibition in Buenos Aires, 2009. He is completing the series with 6 large full-color paintings.

Lasnier's work has been recognized by the specialized critic and published in Trace Magazine, Juxtapoz and Graffiti Argentina.
