Paola Pagano was born in Boston in 1987, she grew up in Naples (Italy) until the age of 18 when she moved to Rome for College. She currently lives and works in New York as illustrator and designer. Her style is made of quick expressive marks and a bright and assorted palette of colors, her images investigate the relationships between an interior and an exterior world more than delivering an accurate description of reality.
As an illustrator her process involves watercolor, pencil, ink and digital compositing.

Her background includes an experience as Associate Designer at Artforum International where she worked both as production managing assistant and as in house print and web designer.
