Osika Design:

Andreu Osika leads a multi-disciplinary design studio established after he graduated with a master's degree in industrial design from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2003.

The studio engages in a variety of projects ranging from corporate identity, branding, user interface and icon design, information graphics, website design, apparel graphics, packaging graphics, print communications and product concept design.

Andreu belongs to an international network of top tier designers, illustrators, developers, user interface usability specialists and copywriters who work with him on a per-project basis. This flexible infrastructure allows the studio to quickly adapt to client needs and deliver solutions within budget and timeframe.

Andreu earned a master's degree in industrial design from RISD and an undergraduate degree in graphic design from the University of Illinois at UC. He has studied design at the University of Northumbria in Newcastle, UK and has worked as a product designer in Warsaw, Poland. He has been recognized for his graphic, product and web design work and has had his work published in Graphis, Critique, The Boston Globe, Communication Arts, ID and Newsweek.

Contract Visual User Interface Designer, Nokia - Burlington, MA
User interface concept and visual design of S60 and S40 platform based emailand instant messaging mobile applications. Contributed to the design of nokia and websites. Worked with team members to translate application UI spec to create wireframes and hi-fidelity visual screen designs. Additional tasks included the creation of wireframe sketch mock-ups for usability testing, production and delivery of graphic assets for product developers, blue- sky concept development and visual rendering for future messaging and social networking applications.

Co-founder/Creative Director, Artefacture - Somerville, MA
Co-founder and creative director of Artefacture, a design inspired graphic t-shirt label. Responsible for the creative, design and production coordination of product line. Designed and produced the retail website and responsible for the creative, design and production of all branding and multi- media marketing collateral i.e. product photography, product catalogue, hang tags, online banner ads, stickers, linesheets etc.
