Marcela Cabrera is an award-winning graphic designer, Illustrator and art director.

She became a household name in her country for her imaginative illustration work for children's books, and more recently for her role in the world of video games.

Her passion for art started as a kid.

When Marcela was a 7 year old, she won a painting competition among 12,000 kids for that year's fiat automobile company annual calendar. Since then, inspired by this recognition and her award-winning trip to Disney World, she developed her skills as a graphic designer, travelled the world, learned multiple languages, and acquired life experiences which resulted in an eclectic and rich body of work.

Marcela Cabrera works as a visual designer and illustrator in the world of UI/UX and Motion Graphics.

In addition to receiving multiple awards for excellence book design and illustration in her country of origin, Marcela also won an IBBY award as one of the 100 best book illustrators in the world. Her work in the video games industry has been recognized by renown institutions such as the iParenting Media, Dr.Toy, Adobe systems, Game Expo, Bologna Book Faire and Communication Arts, among others.

Her artwork has been exhibited in the Santa Monica Public Library, The Crucible, ProArts, The East Bay Open Studios and the Junior Art Center in the United States, as well as the CANTV and the Museum of Contemporary in Venezuela.
