Professional Experience

What I do
I have over 20 years' experience of shooting images for a wide range of clients in the business and industrial sectors. I enjoy the process of working with designers to produce creative interpretations of different kinds of briefs, and always aim to shoot images that fulfil the client's objectives clearly and simply, and with visual flair.

My experience gives me the confidence to work in a wide range of contexts, from the boardroom to the factory floor, as well the people skills to be able to get a good shot out of pretty much anyone. I'm a member of the Association of Photographers (UK)

What else I do
Alongside my commercial work, I take pictures for personal projects, some of which have generated exhibitions or books. I also have considerable experience of academic practice from both ends of the lecture hall, having gained an MA in Fine Art Photography from the London College of Communication (University of the Arts), London in 2006, as well as having taught a number of photography-related courses at post-graduate level, most recently as a Senior Associate Lecturer at the London College of Fashion. In addition, I'm committed to encouraging other people's interest in photography, and have recently co-founded – the photo contest-based site aimed at both enthusiastic photographers and professionals more reasons to shoot, rate, discuss and share work.
