Since graduating from the Ontario College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Design, I have been exploring the potential of handicraft as a medium for expressive pictorial representation.  In an increasingly digital world, stitching is a means of achieving a nearly inimitable quality of craftsmanship.
                I am deeply in love with the vintage aesthetic, but am also influenced greatly by the raw characteristics of Naive art and the uninhibited subject matter of the Lowbrow, which provides a contemporary contrast to my traditional method of needlepoint.
