Louise Anne (L. A.) Marler is a graphic designer, print specialist, and photographer, specializing in Contemporary Vintage Imaging. She is a consultant and instructor as well as creator of fine art prints, home accessories, fashion t-shirts, gifts and much more!

Louise is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. Mostly self-taught, with on-the-job-training. She has continued her art and design education at Santa Monica College, Scripps College, Self Help Graphics and Calumet, adding to the progression of her work.

Providing commercial graphics and printing for 20 years, she is a hands-on specialist. Marler is meticulous about papers, inks and color in all prints made of her work and other artists’.

Louise is able to multi-task on her commission projects, new work, installations, and merchandise with an unfettered and inscrutable artistic sensibility. She blends traditional printmaking and photography, inventive techniques with advancing technologies.

Committed to being a master printer as well as the environment, she was featured by Micro Publishing News, March 1996 in the article “Santa Monica Printer Blends Ecology and Technology.”

Marler’s artwork has been exhibited nationally in galleries and seen in TV shows: Two and a Half Men, Criminal Minds, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Mentalist, Rules of Engagement, and films such as Bratz – the movie, Friends with Benefits and others...
