BIO
I was born in 1976 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Alongside my drawings as a kid, I created my first pixel artwork in a ZX Spectrum+. Since then I kept using both computers and my hands to express my visions.
I studied Advertisement and mainly worked in events management and promotion . In the mean time, I kept evolving my design and illustration skills, studying, practising and part-time working as a designer/illustrator.
Since 2007 I decided to work as a freelancer. I recently moved to Leeds, UK. I like simplicity and humour and I like my work to be provocative. My versatility, hard work and adaptability keep my standards at the highest level.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Adobe Illustrator – I have an excellent knowledge of the vast capabilities of Illustrator. From illustrations to identity and from posters to few-paged layouts, this is my favourite software. Of course if necessary I can switch to CorelDraw where I first began digitally illustrating.
Photoshop – Although I prefer working with vectors, I have an extensive knowledge of Photoshop which includes photo manipulation and retouching.
InDesign – I have advanced skills in laying out multi–page documents.
Flash/Aftereffects – I have the skills needed to build animations and banners.
Other – I have some basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and ACTIONSCRIPT2. I can work easily on both MacOS and Windows environment and can cover a huge amount of work produced through the MS Office.
Languages – Greek (Native Speaker), English (Fluent), German (Poor)

OTHER INTERESTS
I love all aspects of design. I indulge in photography and make my amateur steps with my Nikon D90. I like movies, I like art and I love travelling. Kafalan Sans and Kafalan Serif, my two custom made fonts will be featured in November’s 2012 issue of Slanted Magazine.
