Professional Experience
Jun Pinzon is a freelance commercial, editorial and stock photographer based in the Philippines.
He has been in the photographic industry professionally since early 2000.
A graduate of BS Psychology from a college in Manila, he worked for a company as a hiring assistant. After four years of office work, he started moonlighting as an event photographer covering corporate events. It only took him a few assignments to decide that this is what he wanted to do full time.
He dove into the profession full time despite lacking formal training. Took every little bit of knowledge and tips he can from more experienced colleagues and applied them to what he did. Soon, he started to become more comfortable and confident with the skills that he acquired and experimented more with styles.
Shoot assignments varying from portraits, interiors, food, products, industrial and travel taught him a lot and used this knowledge when producing his own shoots.
He now contributes regularly to several microstock agencies and continues to shoot assignments whenever schedule permits.
