I was born in Spain and, almost from day one, I could be found with a pen and paper in my hand. I loved to draw - anything and everything. And, as soon as I was old enough, I collected all my crayons, colouring pencils and pens together and moved to America; where I studied Commercial Art.

After graduating, I relocated to London and became an Art Director for an Advertising Agency. This gave me the chance to do what I loved - and get paid for it. During this time, my passion grew and I began to work as a freelance Illustrator.

After that I decided to set up illustrationsbyoscar - specializing in advertising, editorial and book illustrations. I work mainly in a digital format, using Photoshop and Illustrator ... although I am quite handy with watercolours too.
