Howard is originally from Seoul, South Korea. His creative adventure began at age 13 when he found a Pentax camera that belonged to his deceased grandfather. His first role of film came out all black except for one frame and that one photo was included in the national middle school group show. Howard has won numerous awards and was included in many group exhibitions. After graduating high school, he wanted to study photography seriously and moved to California where he attended the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara. He moved to New York City after graduating and began assisting fashion photographer Steven Klein. Howard opened his studio in 2001 in New York City for 11 years. He resides in Southern Rhode Island and works with clients from all over the world.
