It was 1995 when I discovered what Internet was by developing teaching material for an internet seminar. I started searching for information about web site development. At the time nobody knew anything about macromedia or its first version of dreamweaver, so I started studying and began handcoding html in Windows Notepad.
Having recently enrolled in graphic design at the University of Buenos Aires, I spent part of my time applying my design skills to web site development, something that people knew little about, especially in Argentina. A year later the first internet service provider companies started up in argentina and i was hired by Waynet On line. This was to be my first position as a professional web designer. HTML language evolved quickly, alternative languages and new development tools also started to appear. It became necessary to read, and teach myself about, all the new developments. Then Macromedia launched its first version of Flash. I remember being so impressed with it. I began using it and have used it to produce this portfolio site amongst others.
As my university studies advanced I also started to work on print based projects, and began experimenting with alternative ways of visual communication. I also continued applying my academic knowledge to new media design.
During the year 2000, I experimented with photography in an intuitive and personal way to complementary my graphic design before undertaking a photography course, enabling me to work as a professional photographer.
At the begining of 2002 I started dedicating myself to design and photography, working as a freelancer.
Now I´m currently working with agencies and companies from around the world including the USA, UK, Spain, Italy and Argentina.
