Professional Experience
My career spans a wide variety of assignments and job roles within the visual workplace. Photography fascinated me from an early age enabling me to observe my fellow human beings within their own environments and cultures. This fascination was reinforced by the unique experience of five years as assistant to Lord Snowdon and currently as a freelance photographer and director. I have gained extensive experience in these last 10 years working with editorial, advertising, corporate, governmental and NGO clients. My commitment to developing my skills as a photographer and director has furthered my expertise with a wide range of graphic software, protocols and policies both outside and inside my client’s practices.

I work as a freelance photographer and director working in both stills and motion. I am commissioned globally to record imagery of life and circumstance all over the world. Working with Corporate Social Responsibility programmes and organisations such as the British Council and UK Government Department for International Development I have gained an excellent working knowledge and understanding of governmental organisations and NGO’s diverse operational methods and requirements. The success of the global projects I have worked on demonstrates my ability to articulate and communicate in challenging and different cultural environments.

I take huge pride in all my commissioned work and I always strive for the highest quality and to deliver within budget and on time. To be perceptive and a charismatic creative leader within a wide range of colleagues and clients is key to achieving the brand’s goals.

In the 5 years of working with Lord Snowdon we photographed and met many eminent people including Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth on a couple of occasions. These projects required sensitivity, exceptional intuition and attention to detail. Confidentiality and discretion is of the utmost importance to me and is a form of respect that I have always strictly adhered to.
