I am passionate about design, particularly when it moves. With 20 years experience in all aspects of motion graphics, animation, compositing, visual effects and live action shooting, I love what I am fortunate enough to do for a living.
While constantly developing techniques and fresh styles, I keep abreast of all the latest technology and apply that technology to aid the strength of the design, rather than just using the latest software gimmick for the sake of it. I believe strongly in branding and identity, giving each and every television series, corporate film or channel an instantly recognisable look the viewer can relate to. My aim is to always leave the viewer thinking, …Ooh, that was clever, and looked great… I strive to keep the detail high enough as to allow the piece to be viewed many times, always revealing something new to the audience.
My strengths lie in producing a strong and well developed idea and creating a polished storyboard from that idea. This allows for no unwanted surprises during production and post, and makes it easy for approvals at an early stage, helping the project to flow smoothly, and to come in on time and budget. I have oodles of experience handling budgets, large and small, having worked with most of London’s top production companies and advertising agencies, you can be sure I have a safe pair of hands, and will squeeze the maximum from the budget to put on the screen.
I enjoy working with others and have 7 years experience leading teams of creative's, but can work just as well as part of a team under direction. I simply love contributing ideas and get a lot out of exceeding others expectations.
I have won awards for my work (Guinness Enigma won best VFX in a commercial, BMW ‘7’ won 4 International awards including Agency best corporate film) as well as lots of industry press over the years.
