Professional Experience
Dazeley has been working at the height of his art for over 45 years. He is based in his own purpose built studio complex in Chelsea, London with a large back-up team of assistants, stylists, and retouchers.

Dazeley is dyslexic and left school at 15 without any formal qualifications. Being dyslexic is an asset because it gives him the ability to look at problems and objectives from a different point of view; he is also a meticulous planner and imaginative problem solver.

Dazeley’s style is about taking photography back to its origins, and rebelling against the modern trend of deskilled photography that seems to be so popular nowadays.

Dazeley loves to experiment with different processes, lenses and techniques, looking for and photographing people and things that he finds visually stimulating. Even after 45 years of working as a photographer, Dazeley has not lost his zest and excitement for the art of photography.
