My work as a color specialist and consultant is an organic result of my life-long work as an artist.

The author of Paint Happy! (NOrth Light Book), and has contributed to many national publications including: Decorate with Paint, Family Circle, Better Home & Gardens, Good Housekeeping, Latina Styles and others.

I've enjoyed a broad-based career as an artist including: Artisan tile and home decor designer , Art gallery owner. Museum and gallery exhibits, college art instructor, Children's book illustrator.

My experience with color began with a university degree in painting. Additionally, I honed my color skills matching and mixing by hand thousands of colors during my previous profession as an outdoor billboard painter. I continue my hands-on involvement with color in all of my creative work.
