Brief Summary
Charlene Chua is an award winning illustrator who began her career in her native country of Singapore. Her background encompasses web design and advertising, including working for the interactive wing of Ogilvy & Mather’s Asian operations. Her interest however, has always been primarily in illustration and she eventually pursued a career as a fulltime artist.

Her progress was rapid and resulted in an appearance in a regional exhibition showcasing the talents of designers and illustrators within Southeast Asia. Her work has appeared in regional versions of international publications such as the men’s magazines FHM and Maxim. She has also provided illustrations for various marketing and advertising initiatives ranging from women’s magazines to promotional illustrations for CD covers, shopping malls and even real estate in Indonesia and Australia.

She now calls Toronto home, along with two petulant cats and a dazed husband. She continues to produce illustration work mainly for clients in North America and Europe.
