Roberto Cecato is a Brazilian born photographer who started professionally in 1978 and has been based in Milan since 1991. Throughout his career, Roberto has been known to give an essential, original glance to his subjects. Roberto conceives photography as a broad, vivid field and is always exploring new horizons and challenges with the camera.

Marie Claire, Elle and Bazaar Brazil.

Advertising and image consulting work in France, Spain, Germany, England, USA and Japan. 

Main clients: Gucci, Yves Saint-Laurent, Bulgari, Burberry, Shiseido, Tom Ford, Ferragamo, Bally.

Roberto’s editorial works have appeared in Vogue Italia, Vogue Brasil, Casa Vogue, Grazia, Wallpaper, Elle Dècor, Interni, and Votre Beautè. He has also done projects for global fashion clients including Gucci, Burberry, Bally, Yves Saint-Laurent, Bulgari, Shiseido, Tom Ford and Ferragamo, and has presented solo exhibitions of his work in Italy, France, Portugal, Germany and Brazil.

Since 2000, Roberto has also been directing and producing film documentaries and commercial videos.

From 2012 lives in Brazil.
