Brief Summary
Bijl Architecture is a Sydney-based architecture and design practice founded by director Melonie Bayl-Smith. Contemporary, design-led works characterise the portfolio of Bijl Architecture including numerous completed projects across residential, interiors, educational and public sectors.

To underpin our belief that great design thinks ahead, Bijl Architecture focuses on a collaborative, research-based approach to each project, working closely with clients, consultants, and builders. Inherent flexibility and intentional longevity are key to the practice's design philosophy, thereby capturing our desire to create sustainable architecture from the viewpoints of aesthetics, functionality, economy and the total environment.
