Brief Summary
Born in Rome during the years of disco,Alberto Guglielmi survived driving a vespa in Rome only to become a professional windsurfer and snowboarder. In Italy, he also achieved a degree in Economics with little help from his photography, even though he has been taking pictures since he was 12.
Alberto has been an Italian-man in New York since the last millennium, ten years ago. In NYC he decided that photography was his life and passion, more than anything he had done before.
Alberto started with a portrait exhibition in New York, and he is currently shooting commercial and editorial assignments.

Awards and Recognition
Alberto was chosen as one of the worlds top 50 photographers in 2006 for RedBull Illume, a sculptural photography exhibit that continues to travel internationally. A painful achievement, considering that he broke his leg on that assignment, while shooting from a small boat in the waves of the Indian Ocean...
In 2008 another one of his photos was named best lifestyle photo for the GoIndie contest. In 2009 was the turn of the Black and White Spyder Award. More to come...
