Aaron Kober was born in the United States in the city of Normal, Illinois. Aaron received his undergraduate degree in Studio Art with a drawing concentration from Illinois State University. Kober then later graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a M.F.A. in Illustration. 

Kober’s photo composite illustrations are a hybrid of photography, drawing, installation, sculpture, and digital art. Aaron is highly influenced by cinema, and composes his illustrations as if they were a movie still. Working with his hybrid style, Aaron is able to create a playful conversation with his viewers and fulfill his love of the narrative.
