Richard Taylor is a self taught Pop-Art, Surrealist Illustrator who lives and works in Trinidad and Tobago. His work takes on the many forms ranging from print design and traditional media to digital illustration. He focuses on raising awareness of the benefits of mindfulness.
In an attempt to combat ignorance and prejudice with clever humor, often of a sarcastic nature, Taylor's work is structured around an idea best embodied by a statement of Alan Moore about his own work: "I didn't want to tell people what to think, I just wanted to tell people to think and consider some of these admittedly extreme little elements, which nevertheless do recur fairly regularly throughout human history."
